BUZZKILL JOY is a genre-fluid punk in pink from Scunthorpe, northern England but based in London

Starting out live shows in 2024, he went from brainwashed sycophant working in Parliament to a grassroots protest artist

Last year he put out his debut EP covering a range of hard topics like ADHD, anxiety, depression, death, politics and society. His hope is to evoke a mix of inspiration and rage through his songs. And his genre-fluid sound, stark lyricism, and high energy will always surprise you and give the unexpected. Always 😉

He’s had dozens of spins on BBC Introducing including BBC Radio 1, was shortlisted for Y Not fest, got to the live semi-finals of the Isle of Wight fest New Blood competition 2024, and came out as bi whilst rocking main stage at Scunny Pride in his hometown

Having done shows with Scruff of the Neck, Camden Rocks and Hot Vox, and supported the likes of King No-One and Ivan & The Parazol in his first year, Buzz and his band are ready to take it to the next level in 2025
